# Doclingo Online Editing Guide


1. Why is Post-Translation Editing Necessary?

 • Ensure the accurate conveyance of professional concepts.

Consistency in Style
 • Maintain uniformity of style in corporate documents.
 • Ensure marketing materials align with the brand’s tone of voice.
 • Preserve overall coherence throughout the text.

Handling Special Content
 • Address culturally specific content.
 • Ensure sensitive content is appropriately expressed.
 • Manage content elements that require localization.



2. How to Perform Post-Translation Editing?

### 2.1 Enter Edit Mode
Click the **“Edit”** button below the translation preview to enter the editing page.

### 2.2 Select “Online Editing”
On the editing page, choose **“Online Editing”** to start modifying the document content.

### 2.3 Edit Text Content
###### 1. Edit Font Size Within a Single Text Block
After selecting a text block, you can adjust the font size of the text within that block using the options in the selection box.
*To preserve the original document layout, increasing the font size beyond the original value is currently not supported.*

### 2. Edit Font Style
You can edit the font style of the entire text block, including **bold** and **italic** formatting.

### 3. Edit Text Color Within a Text Block
Change the text color for the entire selected text block.

### 4. Edit Text Block Background Color (OCR Mode Only)
In OCR mode, you can modify the background color of the text block.

### 5. Use Original Text / Translated Text
For certain sensitive areas such as **logos**, **stamps**, or **official seals**, translation may not be required.
In such cases, you can use **“Use Original Text”** to restore the original content.
For example, in the sample document, we applied **“Use Original Text”** to the stamp area.
