# How to Change the Bilingual Layout?

You can customize how the original and translated content are displayed in bilingual PDF documents by choosing between **Horizontal Comparison** and **Vertical Comparison**.

## 1. Open Personal Center
Click the **profile icon** in the top-right corner of the website to open **Personal Center**.
Under **Account Information**, locate the **“Switch to Bilingual Mode”** option.

## 2. Choose Your Preferred Bilingual Layout
Select one of the available comparison layouts:
* **Horizontal Comparison:** Displays the original and translated content side by side.
* **Vertical Comparison:** Displays the original and translated content vertically.
Your selected preference will be used when generating new bilingual PDF documents.

## 3. Resubmit Your Document
||| After changing the bilingual layout, you must resubmit your PDF document for translation.

The system needs to regenerate the document using your new layout settings. Previously translated documents will not be automatically updated.

## 4. Important Notes
* **PDF Only:** Bilingual layout customization is currently supported for PDF documents only.
* **Word & Excel:** Bilingual versions are displayed sentence by sentence and do not support these comparison settings.
* **Existing Documents:** Changing the layout will not affect previously translated files.
* **Resubmission Required:** You must translate the document again to generate the new bilingual layout.
