# Why Is My Translation Taking So Long?

Translation processing time may vary depending on your document size, complexity, selected translation engine, and current system demand.

## 1. Free Translation Queue
Free Translation uses a **queue-based processing system** to manage translation requests.
* **Queue System:** Documents are processed when system resources become available.
* **Waiting Time:** Processing time depends on the number of requests in the queue.
* **No Fixed Completion Time:** An exact completion time cannot be guaranteed.


## 2. VIP Translation Processing Time
VIP Translation processing time may vary depending on document size, complexity, and selected settings.
If the translation progress appears to stop at a certain percentage, it may indicate that the system is performing additional processing.
### Understanding Translation Progress
* **Stuck at 10%:** The document may contain scanned pages, images, or a large number of pages. The system requires additional time to analyze and process the content.
* **Stuck at 90%:** Translation may already be completed, but the system is still regenerating the document layout and preparing the final file.
* **Stuck at 0%:** If the progress remains at 0% for an extended period, please contact customer support. Our team may need to terminate the task from the backend.

## 3. How to Check Translation Progress
You can check your document's translation status through your account.
1. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner to open **Personal Center**.
2. Select **“Usage Records”**.
3. Find your document and check its current translation status.

## 4. What Should I Do If Translation Takes Too Long?
If your document takes longer than expected:
* **Check the Progress:** Review the translation percentage in Usage Records.
* **Allow More Time:** Large or scanned documents may require additional processing time.
* **Avoid Duplicate Submissions:** Check your existing translation record before submitting the same document again.
* **Contact Support:** If the progress remains at 0% or an error occurs, contact our team for assistance.
