How to Chat with Your Document Using AI

Doclingo's AI Chat feature allows you to ask questions, summarize content, and generate insights based on your translated document.

1. Access AI Chat

Step 1: Complete Your Document Translation

First, upload and translate your document using Doclingo.
If you need assistance, refer to our guide: How to Translate Your Document

Step 2: Open Translation History

After logging in, go to Personal Center → Usage Records.
Find the translated document you want to interact with and click “View”.

Step 3: Open AI Chat

On the document preview page, the AI Chat panel will automatically appear on the right-hand side.

2. Start Chatting with Your Document

You can interact with AI in two ways:

Ask a Question: Type your question directly into the chat box.
Use Suggested Prompts: Click the blue suggested questions to get started quickly.

Character Usage Notice: Please note that using AI Chat, including submitting prompts and generating responses, will consume characters from your available balance.

What Can You Ask AI?

Here are some examples:

Summarize this document.
Extract the key points.
Rewrite the content in a professional tone.
Improve the wording.
Generate a report outline.
Create a shorter version.

3. Explore Additional AI Features

Generate a Mind Map

Create a structured mind map based on your document to visualize key ideas and their relationships.
This is especially useful for long or complex documents.

Switch AI Engines

Select different AI engines based on your document type and translation needs.

Export AI-Generated Content

Download AI-generated results in your preferred format:

TXT – Plain text
PDF – Portable document
DOCX – Microsoft Word
MD – Markdown
