How to Translate a Scanned Document?
If your file is a scanned document, the system will automatically use OCR technology to recognize and translate it. Non-VIP users can only preview part of the content and cannot translate the full document. Since OCR processing incurs additional costs, this feature is available exclusively for VIP members. VIP members simply need to check the “Image Translation” option to translate scanned documents.
How to Translate Your Scanned Document?
- Select “VIP” option

- Upload Your File
In the upload area, select a supported file format such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, or PPT.

- Choose Target Language
Select your target language (for example, Simplified Chinese). The system will automatically detect the source language, and even if your document contains multiple languages, it will identify them accurately.

- Translation Engine
You can also choose from advanced translation engines (such as Deepseek, Gemini, Claude, or Qwen) for higher-quality results.
For details on the differences between engines, please refer to the guide “Engine Comparison and Selection.”

- Remember to check “Translate Images”

The document translation page now includes “Translation Mode” and “More Settings”.
You can select the most suitable translation mode based on your document type and translation needs, such as Standard Mode, High-Fidelity Mode, or Reading Mode.
To learn more about each translation mode, please refer to the Document Translation Mode Guide

The document translation page has added a new “More Settings” feature. You can choose advanced options such as AI Polishing, Style Translation, Industry Adaptation, Keep Original Language, and Glossary based on your document content to further improve the translation result.
For example, you can adjust the polishing level, choose a translation style such as Formal Business, Casual Spoken, Academic, or Marketing Copy, and select industry terms such as Legal Document, Medical, Finance, IT Technology, or other professional fields. If there are languages or fixed terms in your document that should not be translated, you can also set them through “Keep Original Language” and “Glossary”.
After completing the settings, click “Confirm Settings”. The system will generate a translation result that better matches your selected use case. Please note that the more settings you select, the more complex the processing may become, and the overall translation time may increase.

- Start Translation
Click “Start Translation”, and the system will automatically process your file. Within a few seconds, you will receive your translation result.
Download Translation Result:
- Click the “Download” button at the bottom of the page to save your file.
