How to Translate a Scanned Document?
If your file is a scanned document, the system will automatically use OCR technology to recognize and translate it. Non-VIP users can only preview part of the content and cannot translate the full document. Since OCR processing incurs additional costs, this feature is available exclusively for VIP members. VIP members simply need to check the “Image Translation” option to translate scanned documents.
How to Translate Your Scanned Document?
- Select “Expert-Level Translation”

- Upload Your File
In the upload area, select a supported file format such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, or PPT.

- Choose Target Language & Translation Engine
Select your target language (for example, Simplified Chinese). The system will automatically detect the source language, and even if your document contains multiple languages, it will identify them accurately.
You can also choose from advanced translation engines (such as Deepseek, Gemini, Claude, or Qwen) for higher-quality results.
For details on the differences between engines, please refer to the guide “Engine Comparison and Selection.”

Tip:
You can also click “More Settings” to select your preferred translation domain (such as General, Academic Paper, Legal Document, or Business File) to get more tailored translation results.

- Start Translation
Click “Start Translation”, and the system will automatically process your file. Within a few seconds, you will receive your translation result.
Download Translation Result:
- Click the “Download” button at the bottom of the page to save your file.
- Go to “Translation History” to view or download previously translated files.
